I should have said "first episode of the Ranma."  Kunou finds out from 
Nabiki that Akane is engaged to Ranma (whew!), and Ranma's in the same 
room, so he gets yelled at by Kunou.

Am I right?  I'm too lazy to check out the anime really quick, and 
Japantown is always sold out of manga #1.  So I'm relying on memory.

	Nope, in fact you're way off base. Nabiki tell Kunou
about Ranma and Akane's engagement, Kunou starts yelling
something about not letting this travesty of justice..blah
blah, the teacher throws the eraser at him (scoring right on
the forehead) and send him out, Kunou reappears in the
hallway carrying two pails running towards Akane/Ranma's
classroom, and picks a fight with Ranma.
