What exactly *is* ZAV, anyway?

Someone else asked, who was the first person to use .sig characters. 
So far as I know, Robbma "I used to be a guy" Orrick is the culpri-I mean,
was the first to do so, on the Ranma ML.  He brought the characters with
him to the fanfic ML.  

Back when I was on the Ranma ML, everyone seemed to be part of an
organization.  I didn't feel like joing one, so I made my own: ZAV, the
followers and fans of Zodiak, Allegra, and Virgo.

If you want to join, contact Mr. Trotter.  He's the President of our
little organization, so he gets to handle all the paperwork.  
(*heh*  And I bet you thought I had forgotten!)

Oh, and to keep this from being a complet Spam:

Rob!  The timeline looks interesting.  And their's a chance the characters
won't die!  Yeah!
