    I liked the opening. The age of the starting characters was a 
good idea for the intro - are you planning to skip them to 16 or so 
for the main story?
    I found Ranma's "girls make lousy mechwarriors " very Ranmaish 
and appropriate and certainly amusing as a reason for friction with 
Akane. 
    Overall, excellent start - keep up the good stuff!!
