Well, it was a logical extension of the fact that if the Moon Princess 
had bodyguards, so should the Moon Queen...

The Elders followed naturally from that chain of thought.  

As for their role, to quote Robert Jordan "read and find out" :)

general Youma are good(after the review Jadeite gave me, it's hard for me 
to look at him as good guy...)? 

According to the Manga, they were originally Endymion's bodyguards, but 
Beryl corrupted them with her power...

Plus, how much how are you going to

from the first season of Sailor moon..? 

Lots!  There's a certain Youma General on ice who is still out 
there...and he's not pleased...

Anway I'm looking forward to 
great that has Naru in it alot (because I like Naru...:) , as long as 
Ami also has a big role...

This story is a sequel to Symphony of the Planets, so you'll be seeing a 
few new characters from that making a return as well (especially Minako's 
new boyfriend)
