Thank you for your feedback on "Childhood's End"!  If you replied on the 
Sunday (Feb. 25th) after I first posted it, I'm sorry I didn't get to read
your C & C (see, my mail server crashed so I didn't get anything from the ML 
that day, and I still haven't gotten the archive remailer to work, but 
thanks anyway).  
        However, I did not apply the story solution to the story and myself.
Twister, how do you apply that ending to a text file?
        I did try to make the story less random, fragmented, and confusing 
this time.  Also, I changed some of the timing so the sequence of events 
makes more sense.  If you think that it needs even more improvement, I'd 
still like to read your suggestions.
