Greetings all,

                    This email to the mailing list is for the authors 
of the spamfic known as the Poker Game 3, if you don't like this thread 
then use your delete key and delete this rambling. If you are an author 
of this fic, _read on_.
                    I know I posted the guidelines before on the ML. I 
expected people to read it. It was labeled Poker Guidelines (save, 
print post on fridge). I stated in that letter the rules IMHO would be 
best for this spamfic. At this moment and time anyone else joining in 
on this fic IMHO would be a bad idea. I'm going to politely say this 
once and that's it, I will not comment on this subject again so this is 
my rant and rave and that is it. (Hell I deserve it, I'm the story 
editor and the one whose's boredom woke this spamfic back up..... ;))
                    _Read the guidelines I sent out._ If anyone needs a 
copy, ie those authors contributing mail me _privately_. My email 
address is bentley4@ix.netcom.com. _Read the guidelines._ If you think 
they are not to your liking then email me personally. These rules are 
what I think will work out nicely for us and the MLers who have started 
to complain about getting swamped by email.
                    I will not try and give you a quick and easy 
version of the rules, cause I can't. I have decided to post them again 
so anyone who missed out the first time can read them. Any comments can 
be send to me, not the ML. If you have a problem with this mail me, if 
not.....TS! ;) (I meant this last comment as a joke, I am not po'ed. It 
is a joke. :))

       Things to do on the ML when your....oppps :/

       Okie dokie guidelines and rules as follows (dons dictator's 

cap

        1. Read what has happened so far.
        2. At this moment it would appear we have enough people for a 
game some have already commented it too huge. IMHO: We're fine. I 
realize a few people go home on the weekends so I dunno if other 
authors are going to pick up. Which brings us to the next item on our 
list.
        3. All the authors between the time they get this and sometime 
real damn soon get yourselves into line. ie 1: Mike, 2: Andy, 3: 
(insert name here) last person on the list will be me. These numbers 
will represent what order we go one for this fic. Now next item
        3a. What things to include: the story (duh ;)), comments and 
crits. include this in all the parts of ye posting to each other. So 
basically read it, _do not_ erase a thing and add your part then 
forward it to the next person. The unlucky sole would be me course at 
the end. ;)
        3b. Keep this off the ML, the only thing going up will be the 
finaly copy from me which will be labeled: _Da Poker Game 3_ Authors 
will be sited at end of section. Perhaps C+C will be included too. Now 
once the new part is posted we will start it all over again. Unless we 
want to switch order to spice it up. The last person recieving it will 
be me, I will be editing it, I will _not_ switch any words around on 
ya. Unless someone gets drunk and well let's not go down that road 
tonight.... ;)
        4. Keep it simple. The mixing of authors from what I've seen as 
of tonight is good. We go from simple to complex and so on and so on. 
In your C+C if an author says I'll work with you on this character and 
you work on this one: fine. Bottom line: talk to each other. My advice 
to work with the characters we have, we've got the sweet and loveable 
(Panda: Since when?) to the mean and dispicable (Mr. B: 
Muahahahahahah...oh sorry. ;)) Good idea to include character dos and 
don'ts when you forward your part to the next author such as Mr. B not 
yelling into his cel phone. As for little back burner plots (BBP: Feed 
me!) keep it short (Captain: you're one to talk)..too true...well if 
you feel like fine, Damon's part was cool, mine is wierd as always, 
Fozzy and Ash was fun. I guess it comes down to what will you be doing 
with this once this fic is done...at present mine is headed somewhere 
after the game. Although I hope to be keeping mine to a minimum. (Pam: 
Bets anyone?) Ahems....
        5. As for the fic not evening containing a poker game yet, Mike 
mentioned the idea of two groups playing it out. Sounds like a good 
idea run with it.
        6. Everyone will be getting a autographed and signed copy once 
this fic is done (Basile: He lies.) and don't come crying to me when 
this gets picked up by MTV ala the Real World... ;)
        7. That's all I can think of for tonight, unless has anything 
else to add...this session is done. :)


        Ok, that's all I'm going to say about it. Now as for me having 
any connection with this passion spice fic.....I don't have anything to 
do with it at all. ;) C+C mail me
