I've heard about this series, but have no idea where to get it 
(untranslated, since I presume it's never been translated).  Neither 
Kinokuniya or Nikaku Animart seems to carry it. 

Nikaku does carry it (it's right there in their catalog).  So does Sasuga,
the other Japanese bookstore I know of with an electronically available
catalog.
