Indeed. Wouldn't the Tymbrimi make interesting characters in the
appropriate fanfic? (Though they'd be very tricky to handle, you'd have
to get them just right to work... I rather doubt I could do it.)
Incidentally, from what I can remember of Startide Rising (my fav. Brin
book), the Tymbrimi sound a lot like Nabiki. Hmm....time to read the book
again.
