For me it tends to be a I just liked it for the most part. Staying true to
the original characters is not a big requirment for a story I like as long as
the changes can be explaned in a reasonable way. The only big thing that I
like is that the story is complete or atleast each chapter ties up most of the
smaller subtreads. Also clearity is important.
