Yes all great stories - But David Weber "Honor Harrington" stories are also
worth considering, nepoleonic naval tales retold as space opera with a good
background of associated politics and predjudice. Like Bujold, Weber has the
knack of writing his heroines and heros into utterly awful situations and then
getting them out of these in believeable way
