things like emacs?!? IMHO vi beats it hands down. Besides,
vi is for REAL PROGRAMMERS! :9  ;)

It would help if I had pico (or elm or pine or irc software...my Unix 
account is a very bare bone's Unix system....)
I only have a choice between emac's and vi , and I love emacs more 
than vi. 

Pointless question number 3 : I need a good ftp site for unix utlitles , 
does anyone know where one is ? Also I need an ftp site with gnuzip , 
perferably not compressed.
