So your all wondering where the stories are...

I don't blame you.

The short version is the past, oh, month has been hell for me and I've
been lucky to find time to login to this account, let alone deal with
everything. It is frustrating me *more* than any reader I'm sure, I take
the moderation seriously.

I have a large backlog of posts, I have been saving them. Basically until
very recently I've been working 70-80 hour weeks, many times straight through
the night. Livingston (my employer) has had a lot of new products coming
out and I've been juggling a lot of tasks. That's the problem with being
good, you get to do a lot. I'm also the Webmaster here and one task I
had was a complete overhaul and redesign of the web.

I've been dragging myself into work, and then trying not to fall asleep
at the wheel driving home. That's been my life - that is, when I don't
work all night in my office and not go home at all.

So, the point of all this is basically - I've done a fair job for a few
years and this is the first time I've really had a delay more than a week
or so - so please give me a break and let me get my life in order and
then the stories will start flowing again.

I'm determined to get them out and regular in the next week or two, there
is a backlog of 90+ posts, but many of them will consolidate (multi-part
posts of one story I post in one post to save time). I'm taking the
first real vacation I've had in over a year at the end of March - going
to London for a week and a half.

As a side-bar, if you have something to post, could you wait until
you see stories flowing again? It really is depressing to see ths
backlog growing and I feel a bit overwhelmed.

But things are leveling out, I've managed to get back to semi-normal
working hours, and I'm working on my email backlog (sorry, priorities).

I thank you.
