No he didn't!  You don't know much about fighting, do you?  When your 
actions allow your opponent to read your next move from your body 
movements, that's telegraphing.

I wouldn't think Ranko would cry. Angry, yes, but cry, no. (Unless she
was acting. :)

I utterly disagree.  She was hurt by his words, and her emotions got the 
better of her.
