SkyKnight looked thoughtfully at the strange gizmo. "It does look
vaguely familiar, now that you mention it. I...." The silver-armoured
Knight Saber stopped talking as a loud, peculiar noise began to echoe
through the room. It sounded like a cross between groaning gears that
hadn't been greased in centuries, and a slowly strangling organism of some kind.
The wheezing-groaning noise died off as a blue object solidified
slowly in the middle of the room. Roughly eight feet tall, and three feet
on each side, the tall box had a folding door in the front; yellow-glassed
window panes were in the door panels, and the sides of the object. A sign
at the top of the boxy object proudly proclaimed 'POLICE BOX'. As the last
echoes of the box's arrival died off, the glowing, blue dome light on top of
it stopped rotating, and went out.
SkyKnight stared in disbelief at the apparition, a disbelief
mirrored on Shannon's face. As they stared at the impossibility, the door
opened, and a tall, youthful-looking man in a greatcoat with a long,
multicoloured scarf draped around his neck stepped out. He had piercing,
somehow ancient-looking eyes, and a shaggy mop of curly brown hair.
"Excuse me," Doctor Who asked politely, absently rummaging through
his pockets for something. "Is this Heathrow?" SkyKnight slapped a
gauntleted hand over his visor.
"Now I KNOW I've been overdoing things..." he groaned to himself...
Sorry, couldn't resist! ^_^
(Yes, I too am a Doctor Who fan. Unfortunately, it's no longer shown up here.)
