I'm willing to bet that you left a terminal and forgot to log off and
someone took advantage of it.  I've seen this happen too many times (not to
mention it's happened to me)

This is the strongest possiblity because a computer I was on yesterday 
messed up on me and I thought I was logged off.  I went to another 
computer and did what I was doing on the other one, logged off there, and 
went to work.

	- One other thing - talk to your computer center and see if they can
get you back up your account.  My school has a policy of backing up the
systems at a MINIMUM of once a week.  So it may be possible to get back some
things you lost, and minimize the damage.

I just finished reloading Twilight back into the account.  The originals 
are kept on disk so I can work on them at home.  Allegra's story was 
backed up in another directory, so I can work on it when I can.  I'm 
putting it to disk as well.  These lab assistants have never seen me move 
so fast to save a file before.  All private messages sent to me on Feb 1 
are gone.  Could anyone who did send anything to me yesterday resend it, 
please?
