I'm writing a Ranm 1/2 and 3x3 Eyes crossover and i need some help.
In 3X3 Eyes Yakumo has a number of special attacks involving
spirits/demons he's bound to himself and unfortunatly the translated
books are nowhere near there yet.
Same problem here... I am writing a GURPS 3x3 Eyes RPG and had to dig
thru 20 vols. of japanese manga, without knowing Japanese. Please, have
a look at:

for all the fan-made translations avaiable on the internet for the 3x3 Eyes
manga. Oh, if you find them useful, be sure to drop a note to Jeff about

Here are the attacks i'm interested in:-
The attack where he somones those Demon Bugs with the three claws that
fly forward destroying anything that gets in it's way.
WARNING: minor spoilers to 3x3 Eyes Manga ahead
The "bugs" are called Tou-Chao, or Earth Claws (or Ground Claws). They do
not fly, they RUN very fast, cutting thru almost anything in their path...
Tou-chao seems to be pretty stupid at dodging attacks and is very vulnerable
to fire.
Amazingly enough, this is one of the most common "beast magics" on the manga,
and almost anybody who control beasts have one of those. It won't cut thru
very hard material, like a nice new steel jail (but if it's roted...).
Yakumo took a LONG time to master this one. Firstly he could only send
one of those from his hands, but later he learnt how to release Tou-Chao
from any body limb.
The attack where he fires a dragon type demon that flys forwards like
Ranma's chi blast except that he can direct it.
Kuan-Yaa (Shining Fang). This one is pretty powerfull (I'd say it's way
more powerful than Ranma chi blasts... unless Ranma can cut thru a building's
concrete floors with it and I didn't know about that). It acts the same way
as a powerful laser beam, and will be reflected by mirrors and such. Yakumo
also says something about it peforming poorly underwater, I think.
Later in the manga, Yakumo learnt how to control it's flying path (he saw
Benares do it and tryied a lot until he could learn how to do that too)...
and MUCH later he learnt how to release a LOT of those at the same time,
creating a really MMM-like (Macross Missile Massacre) mass destruction,
as effective at leveling buildings as a pissed Ryoga.
And finaly the one where he summons that flying demon that he can travel
on! (I know this last one isn't an attack but i want it anyway!!)
Shou-Rin (Running Scale). It looks like an 1.2m long (my best guess)
skateboard, but I guess you already saw it somewhere. It can not hover
above water for much time (it will sink and disappear), but it can carry
at least Pai and Yakumo at good speed, and far more people (around 4
adults) at a slower speed.
It's not an attack, but you can allways summon Shou-Rin and make him
do a dive attack at someone's head... and while this someone pays
attention to Shou-Rin... Kuan-Yaa!!!! :) (Yakumo actualy did this to
Benares, I think).
Ok what i need is an accurate translation or even just the plain Japanese
of what he says when he uses these powers!!
Translation?? Come Forth <insert beast name here> or if he doesn't feel
like shouting too much, just the beast name.

Just one thing... It's a x-over with Ranma, right?? If you are caring
about the 3x3 eyes timeline, be carefull not to include the multiple Kuan-Yaa
or Tou-Chao coming from any limb. When Yakumo learnt those, he did learnt
some other 'little tricks'... and got such a power level boost he was up to
face Benares tip-to-toe (and he did it). No way Ranma could face him (I guess
even Happosei would avoid Yakumo at that level), he could simply open a gate
and send Ranma, Happosei and others to another dimmension(!) firing
up the very same enchantment who hold Kaianwang prisioneer in one of them.
BTW, those beast names are not in Japanese, but in Chinese.
