Plus, I agree with White Wolf.  I never heard of this guy before, he 
doesn't write fanfic, so why is he presenting himself as an authority?

I don't have a problem with someone who doesn't write fanfics giving critiques 
- it helps me to gauge whether or not something works.  But I do think he 
should attempt to write one if he's going to give suggestions like the ones he 
gave me.  Too bad I'm not going to listen to them - if the guy doesn't have 
the balls to contact me directly, I'm certainly not obligated to respond.
