Hmm - well I've been discussing this particular 'hole' in the plot with 
Wolf and Bert for a coupla weeks now - what I posted was basically a 
background that I did up in an attempt to introduce a new character and 
explain some of the 'missing' parts of the story...

Yup... and there is a reason for it....

So Manta is the only other free thinking "boomer" eh? How about the
nastiest one of all. He didn't seem to have any problems with the OMS ;)

OK... but remember - Manta was talking from his *own* experience - he 
doens't know about Largo yet...
