Okay, here is the fanfic I've been working on for the past month and
been thinking about for a month before that. -_-
As you can see, it lacks a title, so donations would be appreciated. ;)
Comments as a result of reading this fanfic would also be appreciated.
Oh yeah... there is currently only one part, so the part 1 thing in the
subject simply tells you which part it is. ;)

[ Our vision reveals a peaceful and silent city in the bright rays of the
pre-noon sun. A simple temple rests in this serene city which we are
looking at, an old temple amidst the capitol known as Tokyo, and within
it's old walls are buildings which are inhabited by some not so simple
people. One person who shall soon join their ranks now stands at the
steps just outside the walls of the temple. Around him and around his
person are various pieces of luggage and suitcases. The look of
weariness and stress is heavy about him as he takes in a deep breath
let's it out again, very slowly.
Though his face seems clouded in sadness, a smile breaks through the
cloudiness as he takes a look around. Having done that, he shakes his
head as though to clear some thought from his mind as he begins to half
drag and half carry the dozen or so pieces of luggage up the steps
toward the temple on top. As he does so, the sound of jet turbines fill
the air as the scene fades and we look back, the sound of footfalls on
steps faint and distant.
We see before us what would be considered a typical airliner cabin. The
kind filled with a slight haze of cigarette smoke, the sounds of children
screaming, various bits of chatter, talking, and of course, sounds of those
who have managed to gain sleep within this microcosm of chaos. Through
the smoke, noise, and the ever present humm of the engines, we can see
the young man from before sitting by one of the windows, his eyes
gazing longingly out the window. He let's out a long sigh as he watches
a patch of moisture form on the cold pane of glass from the contact of
his breath which fades just as rapidly as it had formed. As he looks on,
another young man enters the scene carrying a cup of orange juice in
each hand. He bears some resemblance to the first young man and one may
even be tempted to call them twins if not for the difference of mood
apparent on their faces. ]
Young Man #2 [Hands one of the drinks to the first youth]: Here you
go, Wing.
Wing [taking the offered drink]: Thanks Tat. [sips drink] Ah... nothing
like a refreashing drink after a few hours of sleep. [chuckles]
Tat[nodding in agreement]: Yeah... [takes a sip] I know what you mean...
[looks out window] Hey! Is that Japan? We're finally there?
Wing[nods]: Well, can't wait to unpack and go sight seeing, eh? [smiles]
Me, I'd personally like to get some rest... maybe some sleep.
Tat[gives Wing a knowing look]: Hey. Don't forget, you drew the lot so you'll
be the one to take the luggage to the hotel!
Wing[sighs]: Yeah yeah... I know. And it's not a hotel, Tat. It's a temple.
The people living there said it was okay that we could stay there...
Actually... [thinks for a moment] I didn't hear from the people who
lived there... the person I talked to was called Tamiya something
or other... [shrugs] Oh well... Tamiya said that they'd agree, so
we have a place to live and learn all about the Japanese culture.
Tat[shrugs]: Whatever... as long as they're nice people... I..
[ Tat's sentence was cut off in mid-speech as someone from behind suddenly
slaps his hands on their shoulders and bellows a laugh or two and a
rather loud greeting. In order to save some space, this person's name
is Gary. The original reason for bringing him along was rather straight
forward and even seemed reasonable at first, but as the trip progressed,
so did his boasting, yelling, laughing, and so did out doubts about their
original reasons for inviting him. Heh, they wanted someone along who
also spoke some Japanese in case they needed a third opinion. Not to
mention an extra person meant extra security, at least it lays the mind
to rest. *sigh* Well, he was here and they had room for the three of them
at the temple, so... thus it continues. ]
Gary [laughing loudly again and drawing many angered looks from the parents
of suddenly awakened children]: Hey! What are you two doing? Heh?
Talking about some Kawaii Onna I should know about, ne? [chuckles]
[ Thinking it better to remain silent for now rather than reply with a
barrage of "Shut up Gary!" and "Don't make me use this on you!", both of
the brothers just remained silent and produced a pair of rather annoyed
faces. Wing, who's full name was Wing Tang Wong, and Tat, who's full name
was Wing Tat Wong, then decided to continue their conversation in as
much peace and quiet as they could manage while Gary, who's full name was
Gary Chang, continued his rather crude and egotistic remarks.
Shortly after, the "Fasten your seatbelt" sign lit up and people began to
move towards their seats again. Wing, Tat, and Gary began buckling their
seat belts just as the plane began it's descent. Moments later, the sound
of the jet's tires making contact with the runway greeted the passengers
who were rather happy to know that they were once again on the ground in
one piece.
Wing, Tat, and Gary were overcome with joy as they realised that the land
which they had worshipped from afar was finally within grasp.
Disembarking, baggage claiming, and getting through the customs lines...
it was all a blur amidst the noise and the crowds. All Wing knew was that
it had suddenly become clearer and that there were less people. They
were also in the lobby of the airport just in front of the main doors to
the city beyond. A smile broke on Wing's face as he caught sight of some
images beyond the double doors.
The scene fades, as does the background noise of the airport. As the
scene lightens up again, we hear the chirping of birds and crickets.
The sight of the temple is breathtaking. Wing stands in the middle of
the courtyard, taking in the sights and breathing deeply of the clean
air. He was also sweating and decided to leave the luggage there in
the shade of the trees as he approached the main sliding door of the
building. As he approached, he realised that though he knew the name of
the university's dean and presidents, the president of the motor club
which sponsored his trip and provided this place to live, he did not
know the names of his hosts, nor did he have any proof that they would
be living there. He began to feel rather worried as he knew that
both Gary and Tat would be sightseeing and making miscellaneous purchases
for the next three or four hours. *sigh*
The scene fades back to that of the airport, the three of them gathered
near a taxi, bags and suitcases being loaded into the trunk and rear
seats of the taxi. ]
Gary [smiling and patting Wing on the shoulder]: So, Tang, have fun
bringing our things to the hotel. Tat and I will be doing a little
"Onna" hunting. [he laughs some more]
Tat [sighs and turns to look in another direction]: ...
Wing [groans silently to himself]: Whatever Gary. Just make sure you guys
get to the place in three or four hours. It isn't polite to keep
the hosts waiting and worse yet, not to introduce ourselves in
a orderly way. [gives Gary a tired look, knowing that all of this
is simply going in one ear and out the other... -_-]
Gary [looks around and after a passing Japanese lady]: Uh... yeah Tang...
we'll be there in four or so hours. I think I just found my
inspiration! [smiles broadly]
Wing [groans visibly and sighs]: Whatever... [steps into passenger side of
taxi] Now look, be careful and try to keep an eye out for those
LD's I mentioned. See you guys later! [shuts door]
Tat [waving to his brother]: Bye Wing, see you in a few hours!
Gary [smiling and waving]: Laters Tang! Gotta teach your brother some
lessons in the way of the "Onna"! [laughs again]
Wing [just shakes his head as the taxi drives off]: Think I will get some
sleep... I'll need it for when they return... -_-
[ The scene fades back to the present. Wing stands before the wooden
sliding doors, wondering how he should greet his hosts. More so, how
he should explain his rather dubious residence here at the temple. Wing
had figured that since it was nearing noon, the teenagers in the temple
would either be out or at the university, so there may not even be anyone
to answer the door.
Wing's rather unorganized line of thoughts stopped as the wooden doors
slide open. ]
Lady [looking rather surprised]: eh?? [looks at the luggage in the distance]
Are you a runaway or something? [smiles] Or perhaps a thief?
Wing [not liking the line of thought this lady was taking and too nervous to
compose his thoughts, he just blurted out what was on his mind,
blushing all the way through]: I.. I'm Wing. M..My name is Wing
Tang Wong and I'm from America. That's my stuff... well, most of
it anyways. The rest belong to my friends and well, we came to
Japan through an exchange program and we were admitted to the
university and a man by the name of Tamiya said that we would have
a place to live here. But I had not asked him if he had confirmed
his reservation [takes a deep breath as the lady listens on rather
wide eyed]. So I'm here about to knock when you open the door.
[takes another breath, his heart pounding like some off beat engine]
Lady [smiling, then looks like she's come to a mental conclusion]: Ah...
Yes... You're the exchange student who will be living here.
[smiles, but then frowns] But weren't there supposed to be three
students? Hmmm...?
Wing [his face growing redder by the minute]: You see, they went off sight
seeing and got me to carry the baggage here. [sighs] Well, I thought
I could use some rest, so... here I am.
Lady [nods in satisfaction as she extends her hand to him in an offered
handshake]: Okay. Welcome Wing. But Keiichi isn't home. Neither
is my sister. They're the ones who you should be talking to.
[smiles] But I'll show you to your room now so you can put your
things in a safe place. [she smiles as she walks back into the house.]
Wing [glad that things are at least calm]: Thank you...ummm...
Lady [from within the house]: Urd... My name is Urd.
Wing [smiling]: Thank you, Urd.
[ Wing follows Urd through the various hallways in the building as Urd tells
him the locations of the kitchen, living room, restrooms, bathrooms,
Belldandy's room, Keiichi's room, her own room, and Skuld's room. Urd
finally stops at the end of a corridor in front of a door just down the
hall from Skuld's room. She opens the door to reveal a rather empty
room with a large cleared area, a table at the window for studying, a
bookshelf, some sliding doors to the cabinets, and a smaller table in
the middle of the room. ]
Urd [gesturing to the room much like a car dealer]: Well, here is _your_
room. [smiles] There are two other rooms for your... friends.
I'm afraid it isn't quite as nice as your's since this is the
last guest room in the house. [smiles] But I'm sure Keiichi
will think of something for them.
Wing [smiles a bit]: Thanks Urd. I...
[ Wing's sentence was interrupted by the voice of a young girl from the
main door, announcing her return. We can hear the jingle of bells as
her footsteps can be heard through the house. ]
Urd [catching Wing's distraction]: That's Skuld, Wing. [smiles] _Some_
people find her rather... attractive. [winks as she walks off
towards her own room, giggling slightly]
Wing [kinda stunned from Urd's remark]: ... I... eh? Hmm... must be some
kind of private joke. [sighs]
[ Humming to himself, Wing begins the process of unpacking the few pieces
of clothing he brought with him while shoving the luggage of the other
two into a spot near the door so that they can move it at their leisure.
The advantage to having so few things is that one finishes packing and
unpacking in little or no time. In Wing's case, it took about five
minutes. He had planned on buying some clothes in Japan. Sitting in
the middle of the room, he just hummed to himself as he dozed for a
bit, still a bit jet lagged from the trip and tired from hauling
all of the luggage up the hill and around the house.
Behind him, a young lady had been standing by the door watching him
pack his things into the drawers and on the tables. She watched, smiling
wondering who this person was. From behind, he looked alot like
Keiichi, but he was a bit taller and seemed different. She found
that interesting.
She turned and returned to her own room to work on one of her various
robotic projects, her thoughts drifting back to the new arrival from time
to time for the next dozen or so minutes. Finally, not being able to
stand the mental backtracking and curious about this young man, she got
to her feet and walked to the door of her room and walked out as she
opened the door. So intent was she on her own thoughts that she hadn't
heard the sound of Wing's door opening or of him walking out. They
collided and fell to the ground. ]
Wing [stunned and disorientated] Sumimasen... I.. I didn't expect someone
coming out of the room. I..
Lady [looking across and into Wing's face, her mind slid into neutral
as her eyes just gazed into his face] I.. I'm... sorry! [face becomes
a bit flushed] My name is Skuld, I was a bit curious about you and so
thought to come out and say hi... [gasps as she realizes that she's
said what she was thinking]
Wing [kinda puzzled but glad he's finally met someone closer to his own age]
Er... I'm glad to meet you, Skuld. My name is Wing, I'm an exchange
student who's going to be living here, I hope... [sighs but then
lightens up a bit] Say... um... [blushes a bit as he thinks of
something cool and calm to say] why don't we talk over... say some
ice cream? [smiles] Maybe we can get to know each other better?
Skuld [still gazing into Wing's face, but her mind now slipping out of
neutral, she thought that it'd be a good idea to talk to this
Wing for a bit... and the ice cream sounded nice too. ^_^]
Hmm... I had a few things I needed to do... but I'd be glad to go out
to talk... [smiles brightly] besides... I love ice cream! [smiles]
Wing [brightening up] Hey! Great! [remembering needing to check his wallet
for cash *smile*] Let me put some things away first, ok? [catching
Skuld's nod, rushes into his newly acquired room to close his
suitcase as he counts off a few crisp bills in his wallet]
[ The two walked out of the house, Skuld mentioning a spot in Tokyo that had
great ice cream as well as serving many kinds of food that suited the
tastes of foreigners. It was a kind of food court with a variety of stores
selling various goods. It was about an hour's walk from the temple, but
Skuld thought it'd be a good way to get to know Wing while Wing thought
that it would help him get a feel for the local area. He also thought
that Skuld was rather interesting and perhaps he could become friends
with her. Thus the two began their hour or so walk towards the food court
in Tokyo.
As the two are seen slowly lowering out of sight on their way down the
hill, a small miniature Urd peeks from behind a potted plant, smiling.
A small white mouse stands next to her, both of them were about the same
height. Urd did a strange flip and disappeared in a cloud of smoke, only
to reappear in her full sized form in the room. ]
Urd [smiling as she tapped her chin with a finger] So... my little sister
has taken a liking to Wing, ne? [smiles] Well... guess I should
help her along. Ho Ho Ho.. [continues laughing as she vanishes in
another puff of smoke.]
[ And so, 2nd Class, limited Goddess of the Goddess Relief Office, Urd,
deigns it necessary to help Skuld and Wing to get together. *sigh*
Back on the potted plant, the lone mouse almost seems to cringe at
the thought of Urd having a hand in anything.
Meanwhile, both Gary and Tat had been busy migrating from shop to shop
in the areas of Tokyo near the airport. After much asking and reading
of road maps, they eventually found their way through the winding streets
of the city towards a food court where various Anime goods were sold.
It just so happens that since Wing had taken the luggage to the temple,
the two couldn't buy anything as their caches of cash were in the luggage
and what little they had on hand would not even come close to buying
a single Manga. But they did have a good time browsing through the wide
and expensive selection of goods that were offered.
After about an hour of window shopping and taking down prices to compare
at a later time, they began to realise that they were hungry and perhaps
some food would be helpful. Noting that what little money they did have
was still in American currency, they went to exchange the currency for
some yen, as they decided amongst themselves where they would eat as
they referred to a small map of the mall.
Not far away, about three blocks from the food court mall, Wing and Skuld
were walking by a small clothing outlet which was currently holding a
sale on some of it's stock. Smiling and giggling, Skuld adamantly pushed
Wing into the store despite his protests. ]
Wing [grumbling something about not interested in fashion] But I don't
need any new clothes.
Skuld [smiling and pointing to his faded jeans and heavily spilled stained
t-shirt] Yeah... _I_ believe you. [reaching out and retrieving a
light flight jacket bearing zippered pockets and large red kanji
on the back saying "Racing Wind" and placing it against Wing as
if judging whether or not it will fit.] Hmm... how about this
one? Hmm...?
Wing [looks at the jacket dubiously] I don't know... [notices something
else and picks it up. It is yet another light jacket with zippered
pockets, but with a more technician look to it. It's deep red
with a white band down the right shoulder. "Heaven's Power" is
written on the back in large jagged black Kanji while a smaller
version is embedded into the shoulders and left chest area. Wing
presents it to Skuld who's eyes gleam happily.]
Skuld [clasping her hands behind her back as she examines the jacket with a
critical eye] Hmmm... it's nice, but a bit plain... [smiles] I
like what it says. [looks at the price tag] Wow!! This one's
real cheap too!
Wing [smiles] Guess you being here has changed my luck, Skuld.
Skuld [blushes] I.. I.. don't know what to say...
[ Wing just smiles happily as he goes to pay for the jacket. He also buys
a small knapsack and a clean white t-shirt. Going into the dressing room,
he changes into a clean t-shirt and puts on the new jacket. Stuffing his
old t-shirt into the knapsack, he walks out to a beaming Skuld.]
Skuld [cheering] Suuteki!! [hugs Wing] Now... those jeans...
Wing [groans playfully] Not my jeans...
[ For the next half hour, they search the store for something to match,
finally settling for a pair of white pants with diagnal bands of red
along the legs. After changing into this, Wing and Skuld continue down
the street towards the food court mall.
Sounds of money exchanging hands in the food court mall's foreign currency
exchange booth can be heard as Tat and Gary split their cash and head
out once again, this time to buy some lunch. Having been stuck in a
long line, they had had a lot of time to decide on their place to eat.
Of course, with limited knowledge of the culture's food and a fear of
their stomachs rebelling, they decided on good old McDonald food. *smile*
On stepping out into the lively mall, the two head out towards the place
of the golden arch when they spot Wing. Gary was the first to see him
mainly because he had spotted Skuld. His natural instincts of determining
whether someone was taken led him to discover Wing. What struck him as
odd, besides the fact that he was here with a young attractive lady, was
that he was wearing an outfit that Gary had never seen him wearing. He
chuckles a bit as he taps Tat's shoulder while pointing to Wing. ]
Gary [still chuckling] Hey Tat!! Isn't that your bro?
Tat [looking in the direction that Gary was pointing] Hey!! Yeah!! But
he's wearing new clothes... isn't he supposed to be at the temple
with our luggage?
Gary [shrugging] Dunno... but check out that chick who's with him. Wonder
why he's with her...
Tat [noticing the girl for the first time] Hey, you're right. I didn't
know Wing had anyone he knew here... maybe he met her at the temple?
Gary [chuckling] At the temple!!?? Baka! What temple would have women in it?
[ Still chuckling and laughing, Gary suggests that maybe they should follow
the pair and see why they were together. To himself, Gary was hoping that
it wasn't anything more than just Wing asking for directions *chuckle*
from a young lady. Tat, however, thought it might be fun to find out more
about Wing's private going on's, so agreed. They both stealthily watched
and followed the pair while they quickly forgot about their lunch.
Skuld and Wing were oblivious to the two young men watching them from afar
as they had finally reached the food court mall. The walk to the mall had
been a downhill one, but much talking between and laughing had made both
of them thirsty and ice cream was becoming a more dreamy thought by the
minute. Arriving at the mall and overcome by weariness, Wing sits on one
of the nearby benches as Skuld follows and sits next to him, fanning
herself a bit with her hands. ]
Skuld [wiping a bit of sweat from her forehead] Wow, that was some walk...
I didn't think it'd be this hot... [looks up into the sky]
Wing [leans back] yeah... with the moisture, the air feels clingy... So...
know which place serves the best? [turns to look at Skuld as he
smiles, glad to have company on his first day]
Skuld [returning her gaze from the sky and notices Wing looking at her, she
looks away hurridly for a moment] Ah.. yes. [looks up in
concentration] etto... Ah... over there! [points to an enclosed
ice cream parlor which served a variety of drinks] Well? How about
that one?
Wing [smiles] Whichever one you choose would be fine, Skuld.
[ Rising, they walked across the courtyard towards the ice cream parlor.
from behind a nearby potted plant, Gary and Tat had seen the exchange as
well as overheard what was said. Both had rather blank looks on their
faces as the conversation that they had just overheard revealed little
about the connection between the two. Trading looks between themselves,
Gary and Tat decided that it was probably not worth the effort to continue
their little spy game. Giving each other a weary look, they followed the
pair into the ice cream parlor in hopes of rejoining with Wing to discover
the mystery behind his female companion.
Several dozen blocks away, on the the Nekomitech Campus, voices can be
heard from within a smallish building bearing the title "Nekomitech Motor
Club". The voices seem to be discussing something involving three
foreign exchange students. The topic of "In the spirit of the club" and
various other choice phrases can be heard from the clubhouse. Noting
that nothing seems to concern us, the scene returns to that of the
food court mall, specifically, within the ice cream parlor.
Wing and Skuld have already ordered and are seated in a cushioned corner
booth. Apparently, they are waiting for their order to arrive. ]
Wing [looking down at the table as he talks] Umm... Skuld. About what
happened at the temple, sorry. [looks up] I didn't mean to knock you
down.
Skuld [smiling] That's okay, Wing. It was an accident, right? Well, at
least some good came of it. [looks around the room] So you came
here as part of an exchange program, huh?
Wing [nodding] Yeah... I'm a computer science major back in the states, but
thought some cultural experiences might help me in my studies, so
when this opening came up, I decided to take it. [smiles] And I'm
glad I did.
Skuld [blushes] Ah... but wasn't there supposed to be two other students?
I didn't remember seeing anyone else besides yourself. [thinks
for a bit] In fact, I don't even remember elder sister or Keiichi
mentioning anyone staying with us...
Wing [looking a bit embarrassed] Well... that's something I had been worrying
about since I got off the plane. Someone named Tamiya said that we'd
have room and board here and to report to the address listed. [hands
skuld a piece of paper with the address of the temple written on it]
Skuld [handing the paper back] Well... if it was Tamiya, then I guess it's
normal... [smiles] Tamiya and Keiichi are probably talking about it
now. [notices someone standing by their booth] eh? Who are you two?
[ Wing looks up to see who has arrived and see's Tat and Gary, looking rather
tired and bearing looks which hint at something that Wing didn't feel like
thinking about. ]
Wing [waves to the two] Hi there. [smiles] When did you two get here?
Skuld [looks to Wing confused] You know these two?
Wing [nods] These are the other two students. The tall one is Gary and the
other is Tat, my brother. [smiles as he gestures to Skuld] And this
is Skuld.
[ Both Gary and Tat say hi to Skuld as she returns the greeting rather
dubiously. Both of them scramble to sit next to her, but Skuld simply
scoots closer to Wing, keeping a bit of distance between herself and
Gary, who had gotten to the seat first. Wing sighed and took the spot
between Skuld and Gary while Tat sat on the other side of Gary.
Just as Gary was about to say something, the waiter returned with the
order which Skuld and Wing had ordered. It was a single dish of ice
cream with two cherries on top while the rest was decorated with various
pieces of cookies and crushed nuts. Gary and Tat looked at the dish
in confusion, as the waiter handed Skuld and Wing a spoon each, giving
the two a wink and a smile. Noticing the two new arrivals, he left
and returned with two menus which he handed to them, saying that he'll
be back shortly to recieve their orders. ]
Gary [looking more at Skuld and Wing than at his menu] Uh... Tang. You and
Skuld are going to share that?
Wing [looks at Gary sheepishly, attempting to ignore his hinting] Uh... yeah,
why?
Skuld [blinks and just pretends she didn't hear as she yanks out one of the
cookies and takes a bite, smiling as she takes a spoonful of the
desert.] MMMmmm!! Oishii!! Wing, try some! [smiles] I bet you'll
love it.
Wing [nods while smiling] Okay... [begins to lift his spoon as he suddenly
finds a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth] Mmmm!! Wow! It is
good! [taking a spoonful from the bowl, he smiles as he offers it
to Skuld]
[ Gary is just staring wide eyed at them as his head hits the table with
a thunk. Tat having not noticed much noticed the thunk and turns to
ask Gary if he was ok. ]
Gary [shakily replying to Tat as he pushes Tat a distance from the couple]
Yeah... I.. I.. They're actually eating the ice cream together!!
Tat [thinking Gary was joking, looks up at the other two] ...
[ As the two sat rather wordless, the waiter returned to take their orders,
but seeing them silent decided to shake them out of their reverie with
an "ahem". ]
Waiter [looks rather impatient] Are you ready to order yet?
Gary [turns to look at the waiter] Uh... [glances at the menu] Yes. I'll
have the pineapple fruitshake.
Waiter [noting it down] Okay, and you, sir?
Tat [handing the menu to the waiter] I'll have the same.
Waiter [nods] Thank you very much. I'll be back soon with your order.
[ The waiter smiles as he leaves. Gary and Tat simply sit there wordlessly
watching Wing and Skuld eat and talk together as if they had not even
joined them. They remained silent as they waited for their drinks and
were silent still after they recieved their drinks, sipping it silently
as they watched the two.
After a few minutes, Skuld and Wing had finished their ice cream together
and where laughing at something funny that happened to Skuld's sister,
Urd. Noticing that it was afternoon and the sun would soon set, they
decided to return to the temple as Gary and Tat just stood and followed
them to pay their bills.
Gathering in front of the ice cream parlor, Gary and Tat talked to Wing
seperately from Skuld. Skuld gave Wing a smile as she walked over to a
nearby bench and sat, swinging her legs while waiting for them to
finish talking. ]
Gary [nudging Wing] So... Tang, what's up with Skuld there? Heh?
Wing [giving Gary a strange look] What do you mean? We're friends...
Gary [smiles] Sure.... you two share the same bowl of ice cream, then act
as if both me and Tat were not there... [laughs] I know what's
going on.
Wing [somewhat annoyed by Gary's hinting and questioning] Look Gary, we're
friends and that's about it. [glancing over to Skuld, wondering
if that was all it was] Besides... I'm pretty tired from the
flight. It's been a _very_ long day.
Gary [turning to Tat] Did your brother seem tired?
Tat [looking and feeling rather down] I don't know, let's just go to the
temple and get some rest. [closes eyes] I'm feeling tired and
right now, annoyed.
Wing [looks worried] You okay, Tat? Look, I'm sorry if I didn't talk to
you guys, but well... me and Skuld... we click, yunno? And it's
interesting to talk to her. We share so many common interests...
Gary [smiles as he nods] I knew it! [gestures to Tat] C'mon Tat, let's
go to the temple and leave the two love birds alone.
[ Tat and Gary leave and head in the general direction of the Temple. Wing
feeling rather bad after the talk walks slowly to Skuld's side, wondering
what he missed, if he did miss something... ]
Skuld [noticing Wing's mood] Hey Wing, what's wrong? You look sad...
Wing [tries to smile] It's nothing... they're jusy angry at me for not
talking to them as much as I talk to you, Skuld. [smiles] They'll
get over it.
Skuld [continues to look at Wing] Oh... so you want to go back?
Wing [nodding] Yeah... [smiles] maybe I should get some rest... Skuld?
Skuld [] Yes?
Wing [smiling warmly] Thanks for a great day... I don't think I've been
happier. [smiles] Everything seems right when I'm with you...
Skuld [looks away a bit] Th..Thanks Wing. [looks at the sky] Hmm...
think it's about time to get back... elder sister might get worried.
[ Wing nods as he follows Skuld out of the mall, heading back up the street
that they had taken to get to the mall. As they walk and talk together,
the sun casts a golden glow on things, warming the scene, making it one
to treasure in one's memory.
Returning to the clubhouse on the campus of Nekomitech, the door is open
and we can see a young man within sitting by a young lady. They look
almost like a couple, but she wears clothes which resemble Skuld's, but
is less technical and flashy in nature. The young man wears loose clothing
which makes him look like a biker of sorts. They are alone in the
building together. ]
Lady [smiling] So... Keiichi-san... please don't worry... I'm sure things
will work out. They always do.
Keiichi [smiles as he looks up] That's true, Belldandy... But I wish Tamiya
didn't do things like that... it always causes problems... [sighs]
And we only have one guest room left... Bell, do you think they'll
agree to sleep in the same room?
Belldandy [looks thoughtful] I really don't know... but I think they should
be at the temple by now... maybe we should get back and talk with
them... it might be the best way to resolve the problem. [smiles]
Besides, you wouldn't want Urd to talk them into anything, would
you? [giggles]
Keiichi [smiles and breaks into laughter as well] Yeah, I guess so... [rises]
Okay, shall we go?
Belldandy [nodding] Let's. [smiles]
[ Belldandy and Keiichi walk out of the clubhouse and towards Kei's
motorcycle it had a sidecar attached to the side of it, which Belldandy
sat in. As Kei strapped on his helmet, he looked up towards the hill
upon which the temple that he lived in resided and saw two groups advancing
up the road. He sighed as he revved up the engine to his cycle and
drove off towards the temple, hoping that things would be alright when he
got there.
Our point of view flashes rapidly across the distance to the temple and
we see the temple itself, seemingly quiet and serene, birds chirping
their afternoon melodies to the setting sun while crickets called out
to their mates. Within the kitchen of the temple, we can see Urd working
one of her potions. She is also wearing six of the moon bracelets on each
arm to aid her in her work.
In front of Urd sat wide shallow dish bearing several items. A small
pearl, a rose petal, a long strand of hair, and a short one, and a string
tied in a knot. As she began chanting and focusing her energies onto the
dish and it's contents, she ladled something from a pot to the left onto
the items within the dish. A glow engulfs the dish and items as smoke
begins to swirl around her and the orb of light. Suddenly, in a flash of
light, the smoke and orb vanish as if sucked into a tiny point in front
of Urd. Actually, it was two tiny points in front of Urd. As the
energies settled and formed, the tiny points condensed and then expanded
to form two rings which fell to the table with a ringing tone. As Urd
examined the rings, she noted with a smile that the tones which had begun
from the rings continued for some time, a sure sign that her potion had
done it's job in forming her rings of soul binding.
Just as she pocketed the two rings, Urd heard the roar of Kei's
motorcycle. She just smiled silently to herself as she left the kitchen
to greet Kei and the soon to be arriving couple.
Outside the temple, Kei is dismounting his bike as Bell is climbing out
of the sidecar. Just as both of them have gotten off, Tat and Gary can
be seen coming up the stairs at the front of the temple. They look a bit
happier than when we last saw them at the mall. Most likely because
they've been chatting and joking a bit. When they see Belldandy and
Keiichi at the front door waiting for them, they nearly drop to the
ground in shock. This was definitely not the temple that they had
envisioned. ]
Belldandy [waving to Tat and Gary] Hi, my name is Belldandy, and this is
Keiichi.
Keiichi [smiling shyly] Ah. Welcome to our humble home.
Tat [looking around in wonder] Ah... thanks.
Gary [bowing] Thank you for your hospitality. [all the while, his heart going
*thump* *thump* *thump*]
Belldandy [smiling] It's okay, really. But... we have only one guest room...
Urd [stepping out of the house] One guest room which has already been
filled. Sorry, young man. [smiles, but then frowns as she scans the
group, not seeing Skuld or Wing] Er... where is Skuld and Wing?
Gary [face faulting] Skuld and Wing??? [frowns] I think they were on
their way here. They were walking slower than us because they were
busy talking to each other. [sighs]
Tat [nods silently] ...
Keiichi [surprised] Skuld and Wing?
[ Right after Keiichi posed his question, Skuld and Wing walk through the
doorway and into the courtyard of the temple. They've been talking and
laughing earlier on and have worn themselves down to discussing theories,
Skuld doing much correction, to Wing's chagrin. Everyone just stares at
the couple as they arrive and notice everyone else staring at them. ]
Wing and Skuld [waves] Hi.
Skuld [noticing Belldandy, runs to her and hugs her. Wing walks after her]
Elder Sister!!
Belldandy [hugging Skuld] Ah.. Skuld. Care to introduce the young man
you are with? [smiles]
Skuld [excitedly] His name is Wing. We've been talking and went down to
the food court mall to have some ice cream. [smiles] Then walked back
after meeting his friends, [gestures to Gary and Tat].
Belldandy [looks thoughtful and caringly] Hmmm...
Keiichi [offers his hand to Wing] Uh.. Hi, my name is Morisato Keiichi.
Wing [shakes the offered hand] Hi, my name is Wing, Wing Tang Wong. Glad
to meet you. [gestures to Gary and Tat] Their names are Gary and Tat.
Umm... I'm sorry for imposing upon your household... I got the feeling
that Tamiya might not have asked for your consent first.
Keiichi [scratching his head and laughing lightly] Ah... it's okay, he
seems to do things that way. But thing is that we have only one guest
room right now and there are three of you. And Urd said that the guest
room has already been taken...
Wing [smiles] That's okay, I think we can share the same room...
Urd [smiling] That won't be neccessary, Wing. I've prepared two more
rooms for your friends. [smiles and giggles a bit to herself, which
draws a few looks from Bell and Kei, as well as Wing and Skuld. Gary
and Tat are just glad to get their own rooms.] Here, I'll show you to
your rooms.
[ As Urd walks past Keiichi, she whispers something to him and he smiles,
nodding. Urd leads Gary and Tat around to the other side of the temple,
talking to them and introducing herself as they disappear around the
corner.
Wing, Skuld, Belldandy, and Keiichi are left in the courtyard. ]
Belldandy [remembering something] Well, I think I'll get dinner started, so
if you'll all excuse me. [walks into the house]
Keiichi [smiling] Um... well, welcome, Wing. Tomorrow, I'd like to talk to
you about the university and some of the clubs on campus, so get a
good night's sleep after dinner. [waves] I think I'll go in and
help Belldandy. [walks into house]
Wing [sitting on a boulder in wonder] Hmmm....
Skuld [looking at Wing and smiling] Hey Wing, think I'll go in and work
on my mecha... want to help? [smiles]
Wing [catching her smile] Sure... why not? [slides off boulder] Let's go.
[ Wing and Skuld walk into the house together and slide the door shut
behind them. Over the wall surrounding the temple, the sun finally sets
on this long first day for Wing and his friends as well as for Keiichi
and the three goddesses. As the sky darkens, we hear Belldandy calling
to the others that dinner is ready, then cheers, sounds of dishes being
washed, then slowly, one by one, the lights in the building go out.
Until only two are left on. That of Wing's room, and that of Skuld's.
The both of them lying restless long into the night until finally, both
of their lights wink out. ]

Author's notes:
Hi, dear reader. :) As one may realize, Wing and his friends must be at
least 19 or 20 years of age and according to the FAQ's drifting around,
Skuld is 12 years old. However, in my fanfic, I'm making a small
adjustment there and so, in this world, she is 16 years old. Hence
making things seem more realistic.
Also, it's a first, so if there are any problems, please email me about it.
I'll try to make corrections if possible to improve my fanfic. ^_-
Oh yeah... all rights for AMG and related characters belong to those people

The characters Wing, Gary, and Tat are based on real life people. Wing being
the author himself *cheers*, Tat being his brother, and Gary being a friend

Hmmm... and as for the next part, it'll be a while... I'll "probably" be
putting the parts out monthly... but it's highly tentative, so I can't
promise a definite date. Sorry.

Oh yeah... this is supposed to be a AMG/Iczer/Real-Life crossover. The
element from Iczer will appear either in the next part or the one after

Keiichi [Morisato Keiichi]:
A young man of 20 years. He is currently a student at Nekomitech University
and also a member of the NITMC club. He is also their star driver/pilot.
He is in love/in a contract with/and is loved by Belldandy. Belldandy
just so happens to be a goddess.
Keiichi has one sister and currently lives in the temple on top of the hill.
Belldandy [Belldandy]:
A young lady of beauty and patience. She is 20 years old and is also a
goddess of the Goddess Relief Office. She is currently in a contract with
Keiichi, in love with Keiichi, and is loved by Keiichi. She is also a
member of the NITMC club, offering her divine help from time to time. She has
a mellow and self-sacrificing persona which is devoted to Keiichi.
Belldandy has two sisters and lives in the temple.
Urd [Urd]:
Urd is 24 years old, Belldandy's older sister, and a real active person,
feeling personally responsible for setting things into motion or keeping
things in motion between people, especially if they are attracted to each
other. She is also a goddess like her sister, but of 2nd class and limited
powers. She is an on and off member of NITMC and has a rather control and
domination orientated persona.
Urd has two sisters and lives in the temple.
Skuld [Skuld]:
The youngest of the three sisters, being 16 years old. She is also a goddess
and loves to build mecha and eat ice cream. She's a bit childish, but tends
to have rather mature ideas from time to time. She is depicted to be in
love with Wing in this story, which is what the central theme should be
about. -_- She is caring and tends to worry, not knowing how others feel.
Skuld has two sisters and lives in the temple [kinda repetitive, ne? ^_^]
Wing [Wing Tang Wong]:
A 20 year old exchange student from America. He is currently a Computer
Science major, but has studied other fields before college, so he and
Skuld both share much in common. He also likes Skuld, but is still
confused about many things and so... problems. :) Wing is a considerate
person most of the time and tends to be non-physical, prefering to think
things through. Self-sacrificing to a fault sometimes... -_-
One brother and currently lives at the temple.
Tat [Wing Tat Wong]:
A 18 year old exchange student from America. An art major, but thinking
of switching... Brother to Wing and currently a minor character... maybe
something more later... but... *shrug*
One borther and lives at temple.
Gary [Gary Chang]:
A 19 year old art major. Exchange student in the same program as Wing
and Tat. A sexist and egotist, tends to regard self as more important than
others. He is also a minor character until much later. :)
