Hey, don't do that! School is very important you know...

When I get started on a good fanfic with a 32oz. Mtn. Dew close at hand,
I just can't stop. Even if I did, I'd just end up reading the thing in
class.

There were no obvious grammar/spelling mistakes, except for dropped articles.
I did notice a few wordo's here and there, on the order of about 1 per
chapter.

I use a spell checker! BTW, what's a "wordo" - is it like a grammatical
weirdo?

Which is why there are no spelling mistakes, but wordo's. Wordo's are
what we in the Technical Communications community call mistakes generated
by spell checkers and often by MS-Word. The words are spelled right,
it's just that it's the wrong word. Subustitutions like "your" for
"you're" or "there" for "their" are typical wordo's.

Also, are you a non-native english speaker? Since you occasionally drop
your articles, my experience with ESL leads me to think this, as native
speakers of Russian and Asian languages tend to drop their articles, and
I'm curious to see how true this model is.

>From the end of chapter 7, it looks as it the story has reached a cusp
point of whether it'll go towards more of an action fanfic or towards a
relational one. Personally, I'd like to see it go towards relational.

Why does there have to be a difference? Why can't it be both?

It can be, but I'd think it would be very difficult to carry off with
smooth transitions.
