Just a quick question to you guys out there who actually watched that
MTV show "The Real World"
Allo. I've watched a few seasons of it.
How much does the cameraman talk? Enough to start a conversation?
Interview the houseguests? Not at all?
Except for one season's end eps, the cameraman never talked all.
They weren't supposed to. I did miss eps so don't write it down in
stone. :) As for houseguests: the people living in the house usualy
say: well this day (insert name) came over. I guess most people are
told to ignore the camera...I guessing tho.
As for what has happened so far: It's pretty good. Definatly have a
Tenchi character, perhaps an Ako character as well as a Patlabor (or
insert any mech character). As for what to have them do. In the t.v.
show these peole do venture outside the house, they do have to do an
hour of talking to the camera alone (I'm blanking on the name of it).
The phones is tapped too, there are monitors all over the house. The
confessions (I remembered it ha ha! ;)) are usualy in B+W. The rest of
it is in color. Most of the time there is some kind of music added in
to create mood. (ie rock and roll, rap, ect ect.)
As for point of view: Camera angles would be good, seeing what
these people say and then seeing their relatives react is funny. Mind
you how far in advanced this show was taped. They have to edit a lot of
hours into only a half hour for that show.
Anything else?
