   Why? What happened?  I got the file ok...

Those of us with a nostalgic attachment to the primative mail reading
programs of our youth (I started reading email with Emacs RMAIL mode
on a DEC-10 back in 1980) find it a real pain: move message to a mime
capable email program, then un-binhex it.

Anything other than an uuencoded attachment is pretty dicy; e.g. I'm
pretty sure that that Lotus CC:MAIL only understands that variety
(plus it's own internal attachments, of course).
