And besides, I'll bet your friend didn't go in front of the police and tell
a blatent lie about you...

	Ouch!  Almost as bad has telling the police the truth about 
yourself--and they call you a liar! :/

	I'm also puzzled by this e-mail.  What did this friend have to 
do with the internet and why such a drastic measure of social suicide?  
(and if I was serious about leaving I'd unsubscribe to all the lists 
without a single word--so why the fanfare?) 
	I've been hurt and yes, I've run away but I lived to come back and 
fight another day!  I pray it's not a permanent 'solution' for this person.
