Greetings!

Wonderful weather we are having, isn't it? Thanks for your offer of
assistance. The following is basically background. I await the comments with
baited breath.

Priss and Leon have feelings for each other. Both of know it, but
neither wants to admit it to the other. Nene and Mackie would make a good
pair, if either makes an effort to get the other. There are too many
unknowns about Sylia to say anything regarding her significant other. Fargo
seems to be interested, but I would sooner expect pigs to fly than see Sylia
go out with him.

Linna appears to have a new boyfriend every other week. It seems a
little unfair. I have an idea for her steady boyfriend. I will call him
Kyle. He would be about a year older than Linna and about an inch taller.

They meet while she is still working for the aerobics club. Kyle is an
instructor there as well. He teaches martial arts. When Linna leaves to go
work for the stock broker, she still keeps her club membership. Once or
twice a week, when she shows up to work out, Kyle asks her to help him teach
the beginner class. They are about equal in skill.

After hearing her moan and groan about her many boyfriends he offers
to take her out. Linna decides their first date (the second will be
explained later) will be at a surprise birthday party for Priss (more on
that later as well), which is where we first see him.

Now for some background on Kyle. His parents are both dead. His mother
died while giving birth to him. His father worked in the bowels of the AD
Police headquarters building. When the ADP guardian boomers went crazy in
BGC! ep 3 Meltdown, he was killed.

Kyle got his job at the aerobics club to work his way through college.
While he was studying boomer mechanics, he found that he was more interested
in and better at martial arts. Midway through his second year of getting
only mediocre grades at college, he dropped out.

The college courses would prove useful, however. It seems that dad came
across a pair of 33-s boomers that were in need of repair. The boomers'
damage was not too extensive, but it was severe. One's AI seemed to have
been corrupted by what appeared to be a virus. There was also the small
matter of a missing heart (or something along those lines). Not an easy
thing for him to replace. The other boomer also had major organ damage.
Again difficult to replace. At least boomer B's AI was mostly intact.

Through some careful recordkeeping, dad managed to get both to his son
to fix. Fixing the boomers took about two years, and they are the main
reason Linna will not dump Kyle after their first week together.

Earlier I mentioned a surprise birthday party for Priss. This would be
a good way to start the new series. Seeing how Linna and Nene scramble to
organize such an event, what with an odd boomer rampage or somesuch
interrupting things, should be fun. Maybe Vision could show up for the party
with a little present, a recording contract.

In the second episode, we get some background on Linna's new boyfriend.
It is at this time that Kyle finally puzzles out how to restore boomer A's
AI without wiping its memory. To celebrate this occasion, he takes it to his
second date with Linna. Due to a strange quirk of fate, the date is at Hot
Legs. Linna is dumbfounded upon seeing boomer A. Priss is shocked
speechless. We do not see boomer A at all, though it probably should not be
too hard for an observant viewer to guess who boomer A is.

Who or what the antagonist will be, I've no clue. At least I don't
think I do. In any event, a rough sketch of the first scene should be coming
soon.

P.S. There will be a snowball fight in the Pentagon's Center Courtyard at
1600. Be there!
