			                      Chapter 1

It is an average day in the town of Nerima. The sun is shinning brightly.
The wind blows though the town and the people of Nerima go on with their
daily lives.
Inside the Tendo Dojo, Ranma Saotome is watching television. Next to him,
Soun Tendo and Genma Saotome are happily at odds over a game of Shogi.
Kasumi is hard at work making the Tendo family dinner. Nabiki, lying on her
bed, listens to her headphones and devises another plot to earn her some
more money. Akane, as usual, is outside practicing.
Farther down the street, Ukyou Kounji is chasing her shop sign down the
street. Cologne and Shampoo were closing their restaurant after a hard day
work and Mousse, in duck form, is upstairs, locked in a cage, in Shampoo's
room. Mikido Sanzenin and Azusa Shiratori, who is whining over a balloon,
are standing in front of a balloon stand.
At the Kuno family home, Tatewaki Kuno is mediating over Akane Tendo and
the mysterious pig-tailed girl. Kodachi is happily at work making some new
form of potion. Sasuke is practicing his formidable ninja skills. Happosai
is jumping from Kodachi's bedroom with a bag full of panties and bras.
Last of all, Ryoga Hibiki, just wandering around somewhere in Africa, is
daydreaming about how to win Akane's heart.
Each one of them stops what they are doing and looks up. It only lasts for
a brief second and then they go back to doing whatever they were doing.
Except for a black-haired girl, named Akane Tendo.
Akane just stands there looking at nothing. She blinks. She blinks again
and lets out a scream. Well, not really a scream that the human ear can
hear, but sort of an internal scream. A few minutes later, her body slumps
to the ground.
No one hears this scream, except a certain boy named Ranma Saotome. Ranma,
who is watching television, looks up and blinks.
"Huh," he says staring blankly at the t.v. screen.
The silent scream hits him again and Ranma jumps up.
"Akane," he yells and rushes out the door.
Genma and Soun look up as Ranma rushes by.
"What was that?" Genma said looking confused.
	"A...Ak...Akane," studders Soun Tendo.
Kasumi pokes her head in from the kitchen, "Was that Ranma?"
Genma and Soun get up and chase after Ranma. Soun accidentally knocks over
the Shogi board.
Ranma arrives at the practice area only to find Akane's body lying on the
floor.
"No," Ranma screams as he runs over to Akane's body. He kneels down and
puts her head on his lap.
Soun and Genma arrive to find Ranma holding Akane's body.
Soun collapses to the ground shouting, "Akane, my dear sweet Akane."
Genma walks over to Ranma and asks, "What happened, boy?"
Ranma looks up and stares at Genma unable to say anything. He looks down
at Akane and sees no spark of life. Ranma strokes her cheeks and bends over
to kiss her.
"Akane," Ranma whispers overcome with emotion. He stands up and jumps over
the wall.
"Ranma, come back," shouts Genma, as Ranma leaps over the wall.
"Oh Akane, my dear sweet Akane," cries Soun.
Genma walks over and picks up Akane's limp body.
Kasumi walks around the corner and says, "Father, what is all the commotion
about?" She looks confused as she sees her father kneeling on the ground
crying. Then, she spies Genma holding Akane.
	"Genma," Kasumi says softly.
"Kasumi, help your father," Genma says as he passes her and heads straight
for the house.
Kasumi helps her father to the house and up the stairs to Akane's bedroom.
Meanwhile, Nabiki is still in her room planning and scheming.
Soun runs over to Akane's bed and starts crying again, "Akane, come back to
your daddy."
Genma looks at Akane and then over at Soun. "Where are you, Ranma, my
boy?" Genma questions as he stares up at the ceiling.
Ranma sits on top of a rooftop somewhere in Nerima and looks at the fading
sun. "Akane, I will avenge you," Ranma silently says, as a tear trickles
from his eye.

					     Chapter 2

It is a cloudy evening in the skies above Nerima. The clouds swirl and
shift in the skies. Well, most of the clouds move except for one, which
seem to be stationary. To the naked eye, this would appear to be a cloud,
but it is not. Heavy turbine engines support a well-disguised ship of
unknown origin.
Evil laughter rings thoughout the halls of the unknown ship. A dark robed
figure sits on top of a throne made of gold. A finely crafted bottle sits
to the right of him on a pedestal. The figure reaches down and picks up the
bottle. The dark figure looks at it and sees a miniature girl sleeping.
"Now, I have you Nabiki Tendo," laughs the dark robed figure.
The sleeping girl stirs and wakes up. Akane sits up and blinks.
"Huh," she says looking confused. Akane looks around and sees that she is
in what looks like to be a bottle.
	"Where am I," Akane gaps.
"Well, well, Nabiki Tendo, I see that you are finally awake," laughs the
figure.
"Who did you call me?" Akane shockingly replies.
"Don't play games with me Nabiki Tendo," shouts the dark robed figure.
"For, I am D'Rehn of the Sacred Mongoose School of Martial Arts."
"Sacred Mongoose School of Martial Arts, I never heard of it," Akane shouts
back.
"Now, let me out of here," she violently screams.
"What, you never heard of the Sacred Mongoose School of Martial Arts, but
how can this be," D'Rehn studders.
He puts the bottle back on the pedestal and walks away mumbling something
about not knowing who he is. As the door opens, D'Rehn turns around and
shouts, "Nabiki Tendo, you will learn to love me or you will never leave
here alive."
"But, I'm not Nabiki," screams Akane at the top of her lungs. Her scream
falls on deaf ears as D'Rehn turns and leaves.
Akane sits down and looks up. "I'm not Nabiki," she whispers and starts to cry.
"Oh, Ranma were are you?" Akane manages to say through tear-streaked eyes.
Akane wipes away her tears and stands up. "Wait a second, Ranma is never
going be able to save me," Akane realizes.
"That jerk, *hum*, he probably doesn't even know that I'm gone," Akane fumes.
Akane walks over to the edge of the bottle and starts pounding away.
"Stupid, *BLAM*, jerk, *WHAM*," Akane puffs out. Eventually, Akane
collapses to the ground from exhaustion and falls asleep.
A few moments later, a blonde-haired beauty materializes in the room and
picks up the bottle. "So, this is the famed Nabiki Tendo," mutters the woman.
"Doesn't look like much; very uncute," she laughs.
"I should smash you here and now," she yells as she raises the bottle above
her head.
The woman stops and gently puts the bottle back on the pedestal. "Alas no,
I cannot for it would crush poor D'Rehn's heart."
"Beware, Nabiki Tendo, for I am watching you," she says as she disappears
from the room.

					Chapter 3

					[Africa]

It is hot and humid in the forests of Africa. The sun is shining brightly
and the air is dry and licuid. The birds fly high above the trees and a
young boy walks, to where only the heavens know. The boy, whos name is
Ryoga Hibiki, wanders about not knowing where he is or where he is going.
He hears a bird squak and he looks around.
	"Huh," says Ryoga looking confused.
"Where in the world am I now," he shouts at the top of his lungs, while
staring at unfamilair surroundings. A monkey, perched on top of a tree
limb, looks down and scratchs his head; then the monkey dashes off into the
trees.
"Ranma, where are you hiding?" Ryoga shouts to no one in sight. Suddenly,
he hears a twig break from behind him.
"Tring to sneak up on me, huh Ranma?" Ryoga sneers. He turns around and
comes face to face with a huge wild boar.
"Uhhh, your not Ranma," Ryoga mutters.
The boar snorts and sorta grins devilishly.
"Well, umm, I guess I will be going now," Ryoga studders as he turns and
runs for his life.
The boar snorts and chases after its now fleeing prey............

					[Nerima]

Its has been two days since Akane went into a coma, well not really a coma,
but thats the best guess that anyone can give; since Dr. Tofu is nowhere to
be found. Ranma is still missing and a strange mark has appeared on Akane's
forehead. The shape of the mark looks to be an upside-down star. Soun,
Kasumi, and Genma are in Akane's bedroom and Nabiki is somewhere out on the
town.
Soun, kneeling by Akane's bed, cries, "Akane, please come back to your papa."
"Father, please don't cry," Kasumi says softly, as she kneels beside him
and puts her arms around his shoudlers.
Genma stands next to Soun and thinks the himself, "Ranma, my boy, where are
you hiding?"
Day gives away to night and with the night begins a steady downpour of
rain. The Tendo's, execpt for Akane and Nabiki, are sitting down to dinner,
when suddenly the door slides open and Ranko is standing there soaking wet.
	Kasumi gaps, "Ranma".
Soun runs over to Ranma and cries, "Ranma, you have come back to bring
Akane back to her old daddy."
Genma turns his head away and thinks, "Well, its about time."
Ranko just stands there dripping wet from head to toe and then she sneezes,
"Achoo".
Ranko enters the house and starts to quietly walk upstairs to dry off and
change chothes. She says nothing to the amazed on-lookers. Ranko passes by
her father and almost decides to stop and say something, but decides agaist
it. Ranko reaches the stairs and begins to climb them when Genma opens his
mouth to say something.
Ranko quietly says, "Don't say it pop," and with that she walks upstairs.
Genma snaps his jaw shut, shakes his head, and sits back down to eat
dinner. Ranko reaches the top of the stairs and turns left proceeding
towards the bathroom. She first passes a wooden door with a small white
sign hanging on it that reads "Kasumi". Next, she passes another wooden
door with another sign that reads "Nabiki". She passes these doors without
even a glance of notice, then she comes to another wooden door with sign
that this time reads "Akane". Ranko stops and lifts up her head looking
straight at the welcoming bathroom door. She shivers and takes a step
forward; but stops suddenly and turns to face Akane's door. Ranko stands
there for several minutes staring at the little white sign that says "Akane".
Ranko angrily says under her breath, "Its not my fault she like this." She
places her hand upon the sign and outlines Akane's name.
	Ranko siliently screams, "AKANE!!"
Suddenly, the sign splits in-half and falls to the ground. Ranko stares in
disbelief at what just happend....

                              [Africa]

A small native boy sits infront of a campfire staring out into the woods.
Suddenly, he notices a boy in a yellow shirt, carring a strange looking
weapon, running by him and shouting somthing about a Ranma whatever that
could be. The small boy ponders why the other boy was rapidly running and
within a few seconds he has his answer as a huge wild boar charges by him.
Later in the morning, he retells that nights story to his grandfather and
asks what the strange looking weapon was.
The grandfather laughs and says, "That, my young Moastfu, was what the
white men call an umbrella."

					[Nerima]

Ranma wakes up with a start and looks over at his clock. The clock flashs
four o'clock in the morning and Ranma smashs it out of fustration. Genma
rolls over in his bed and mumbles somthing about if Nodoka ever found out.
Ranma ignores his babbling father and flings off his sweat soaked shirt into
a corner. He walks over to the dresser and reaches for another shirt. He
spies Akane's picture on the dresser and stares at it for a brief moment.
Ranma whispers to himself, "Akane," and slides the picture face-down. He
puts on the shirt and heads out the door. Ranma stops in the middle of the
hall and stares at Akane's bedroom door. The white sign has been been put
back upon the door with tape around the middle to keep it together. Ranma
starts to walk away, but stops. He thought he heard something and listens
at the door.
Ranma think to himself, "Naw... I must be hearing thing," and he turns to
leave.
	"Akane-chan," someone whispers barely audible.
"What the...," Ranma shouts and breaks open the door. Ranma rushes into
the room and finds an little old man, clinging to a six foot staff, looking
at Akane. Akane lays on her bed with her arms folded across her chest not
moving. The old man reaches down and touchs the upside-down star on her
head. The star glows.
Ranma angrily shouts, "Who are you?"
The old man looks over at Ranma and calmly says, "Please close the door and
sit down; We have alot to talk about."
Ranma stares at the old man and for the life of him doen't know why, but
does what the old man asks him to do.
The old man hops over to Ranma, clears his throat, and says, "Now, my
boy......"
