How much of that skill comes from her magic and how much is natural? (could be
a clue to help her control it better?)

Her card skills would be 100% natural.  Any attempt to use magic (even if she 
were inclined to) would backfire since she'd manage to screw it up somehow.  
Her pastime of playing cards is just that, a pastime of hers.  It's not related 
in any way to her abilities in magic.  Of course, she can always profit by them 
to a certain extent (or someone else could...).
