Actually I like it...
  It's great the way it is and the brevity of the note just reminds us 
all 
 A) he has to much pride to tell Akane how he feels
 B) He can be a real idiot some times
 C) Sometimes the best way to leave someone you really care for is fast
 D) Ranma cares enough for Akane to not stand in the way of her 
happyness...even if it's with him...

I find it hard to believe that Ranma wrote a note to Akane with just the
phrase "Goodbye, Akane."   To me it is hundreds of times more difficult
and more final to do this than to say "I love you."  It seems totally out

	I'll admit it, while writting that last bit I was in a hurry,
and I couldn't think too well because my siblings were in the room,
talking. I'm going to fix that up when I can.
