Well, I'm sending (hopefully) the final version of December's End Chapter 6 
with thanks to WhiteWolf for comments on the storyline that resulted in 
changes.

I'd like to apologize for the length of time its taking to continue the story, 
but New Year's is an important time in the Japanese year (as opposed to 
Christmas in the west), so I decided to wait until Spectrum Hawaii (PBS) aired 
an episode on Japanese New Year traditions to get it right.  Hopefully I'll 
get all the phonetics correct (I'll watch it again tomorrow).

I'm also trying to get the hanafuda-tarot card fortune telling system into a 
cohesive form, so I can't give a target date for episode 7, though I know what 
should appear in it.

Anyway, I've got some Japanese New Year's traditions of my own to observe...
