Well, I've been reading the comments on whether or not non-anime/manga fanfics 
should be posted here.

I think the real question is whether or not there are Star Trek and 
Dragonlance mailing lists out there.  If there are, then these stories should 
be posted to those mailing lists because the people subscribing would be more 
qualified to give comments concerning characterizations, continuity, technical 
questions, etc.

That is not to say that this mailing list couldn't give qualified opinions, 
but if they're really into these other types of fanfics, then they should be 
on the other mailing lists, too (unless they're afraid of getting 5,000,000 
messages a day).
