Well, I can respect your request for private corrections, but what's so bad
about filling up the List with public corrections? My understanding of this
list is that it is a forum for writers to publish their works-in-progress for
readers and other writers to constructively criticise and edit. Part of that
would seem to be spelling corrections and grammatical errors. By posting
corrections publicly, not only do you learn from your mistakes but the
mistakes of others as well. This can only help you to become a better writer,
if that's your goal. There are those who post here for pure enjoyment as well.
