Huh? How about swapping a curse for another? If some one is not cursed, why would they need a cure? Or do you mean that after falling into one pond, falling into another will have no effect?

This also eliminates the inconsistency that 

arises when you have all these characters and none of them was smart enough to 
ask the guide which pool would cure them.  This would have been explained in 
Episode 2. <<

BTW, some weeks ago, my brother asked me what would happen if you mixed the water from two cursed ponds and then threw someone into the mix?
