It depends on what time you're logging on to IRC #anime!.  I'm usually on 
between 11 PM to 1 AM PST, and it's usually hopping in there.  I don't know 
by how many you mean by "few" but you might be unlucky enough to hit IRC 
during netsplits (where a server drops off of the IRC network temporarily 
due to overload).

3) What are the fanfic WWW pages?  I guess there are WW's Ranmafic site and 
somebody else's everythingfic site.

I don't know of too many fanfic-oriented WWW pages, but some series-specific 
pages (such as Geir Friestad's Relief Goddess Office pages) may have fanfics 
relating to the series covered by them.  Other than that, my guess would be 
WWW access to ftp@ranma.net (the fanfic remailer site).

5) Why can't I think of a fanfic idea for KOR or Sailor Moon or OMG! or 
any anime except Ranma?  

I'm no shrink, so I can't tell what's going on in your mind (then again, I 
have no idea what's going on in mine, so don't feel too bad ^^; ).  Don't 
let it bother you too much.  What you are writing that's revolving around 
Ranma is good stuff.  If there is any KOR, SM, or OMG lurking in your head, 
it'll come out eventually...don't rush it.
