When I subbed to this ML it was great,  a bunch of anime fans and
fiction writers sharing their works with each other in an effort to make
them better.  However recently this list seems to have degenerated into
aplace to have out personal debates.  In fact a lot of the personal
stuff doesn't really belong here.  Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind it
when it was friendly, for example the bit about Saph being cute was...
well... cute.  

But in the past two or three weeks some of us have been engaging in less
than polite behavior.  I won't comment on it or take sides, not having
the appropriate background into it.  

But I do have a request... nay, a plea.   Take it elsewhere.  

If you want a list to spam, flame, and generally carry on I'll make one
for you.  I admin a machine myself and would be perfectly happy to set up
a list for that.  But let's keep the fanfic list for just that, fanfic.
Discussion of currently being written ones, requests for information
and comments on soon to be ones, even intelligent discussions of old
gems.  But not a place for the public expression of ill-feelings.

flaming, griping about others, and being ill-behaved, then mail me
directly and we can work out setting it up for you.
