Hi gang.
I've just subscribed to the list, but there's something that I've seen 
pop up commonly throughout a few 'fics.
Please, please, please keep your tenses straight throughout the story. I 
find that people are switching from 'was' to 'is' in the same -sentence- 
in some cases, with alarming ease. Not only is it wrong from a 
grammatical point of view, it makes reading sorta strange. At least for 
me, anyway. ^_^
Just thought I'd mention it. I think a lot of the 'fics I've read with 
this problem would benefit greaty just from making sure the tense stays 
constant throughout. If you start in the past tense, stay there. ^_^
