Chapter 2

Aeka tapped her foot impatiently while she waited for an answer.
She didn't like the shocked faces the two were shooting at her- all she
wanted to know where her homeroom was, for crying out loud! "Just
tell me where 1-F is and I'll leave you alone!"

"Not another one!" Aeka was bewildered by the girl's response.
"This can't be!" She clamped her hands over her face.

"You don't have to be so polite about it! I'll just find it by myself!"
Aeka screamed, and stomped off, furious at the ridiculous girl with a braid.

"You have a sister, Ranma?" Akane asked, still in shock.

"How should I know? I didn't know my own mother until two
months ago, and I'm supposed to know if I have a sister?"

"You mean you can't keep track of your own family?!"

        "How can I-"

RIIIINNNGGGGGG!! The two look at each other, and shut up
while trying to run to their homeroom.

                                      ***********

Aeka sat into in a seat, fiddling with her fingers. *What did I do
wrong? All I asked where some lousy room was and the girl goes into
hysterics. Really! She's almost as loony as Ko-* Just then, Akane and
Ranma-chan burst into the room. The sensei looked up from the book
 she was translating.

"Saotome Ranma! Tendo Akane!" Although Aeka hadn't looked
up before, she did at the mention of Ranma's name, and looked thoroughly
disappointed when she only saw the two idiots she had met a couple minutes
 ago.

        "Hai, sensei?"

"You're late! Go stand in the hallways!" Looking defeated, they
walked out the classroom door. "Where was I? Oh, yes. Tiger, Ti-" She
glared at Aeka, who had began to doodle on her desk. "What do you
think you're doing, Aeka?" Aeka pasted a very fake smile on her face.

"I'm decorating the desk!" She cried out cheerfully. "You see, it
looked so dull that decided to brighten it up a little." She pointed to a
picture of a five-legged dog. "See, isn't that kawai?"

"Saotome Aeka, really! If you continue that sort of behavior, you'll
also go out in the hallways!"

        "Oh, I'm so sorry! I wouldn't want that, I really wouldn't!" With a
suspicious glance at Aeka, the sensei resumed reading.

"Tiger, Tiger, burning bri-" She stopped again to see Aeka snoring
rather loudly. She whapped her with the book. She woke up immediately,
 rubbing her head.

        "Ouch! What was that for?"

"This is a classroom, not a bedroom!" Kids started giggling.

"But I was just so SLEEPY!" Aeka wailed.

        "Then go sleep outside!"

"Ok!" She gleefully got up and skipped out of the classroom. *I just
hope that doesn't get on my permanent record*

                                        ********

Outside, the two tardy students listened to Aeka making a fool of
 herself.

"She's definitely related to you." Akane joked.

"Be quiet all ready. I want to find out more about this Aeka."

"Hey, ever thought that she thinks you're her husband, and so she
took your last name?" Ranma-chan crashed into the ground. Akane giggled.

"No way! And it if she was," Ranma-chan pointed out "At
this point you'd be beating me up."

        "Why wou-"

"Get out of the way, won't you?" Aeka stepped on Ranma-chan's
back, which was lying at the doorway. She gave a more pleasant greeting
 to Akane. "Hi hi!"

"Would you, uh, mind getting off me?"

"Actually, I would." But she stepped of Ranma-chan anyway.
Turning back to Akane, "You're Akane, right?" Akane nodded. Aeka
clapped her hands together happily. "Oh, Auntie's talked so much about you!"

        "Auntie...?"

        "Auntie Nodoka!"

"You know my m-, I mean Auntie Saotome?" All Ranma-chan
got was a glare. "What's with the attitude?"

"No better than yours from this morning." Aeka crossed her arms,
giving a cool gaze at Ranma-chan.

        "That's cause I'm Ran-"

        "-Ko Tendo!" Akane interrupted.

"YOU'RE Ranko?" Ranma-chan first glared at Akane, who nodded
at her to go on with the lie.

"I guess so. Why're so surprised?"

"I dunno, I thought from what Auntie's told me that you'd be helluva
 nicer."

        "Hey, I am nice! Aren't I, Akane?"

"I agree with Aeka." Akane stuck her tongue out at Ranma-chan,
who at the sides of her mouth with her fingers while sticking her own tongue
 out at Akane.

"Who is it that thinks that the lovely pig-tailed girl is not 'nice'?
Tendo Akane, I know that you resent the lovely pig-tailed girl since she
is one of my true loves, but please do not insult her! It breaks my heart to
see two goddesses such as you not get along. For my sake, do not fight!"

"And what did YOU swallow this morning?" Aeka put her hands on her
hips, staring at the weird-talking boy that held some wooden sword in one
hand. She REALLY didn't know what to make of that look he was giving her.
It was sending chills up her spine.

She expected quite a few things, but none of which happened. "What is
this? How is it that I do not know sumptuous girl such as you? Allow me
to ask this of you, what is your name?"

        Bewildered, she answered, "Aeka."

"Aeka, I would date with you!" He began to run to her, arms
outstretched. She did what was only natural of a girl to do- she freaked.

"Get away from ME-E-E!!!" She grabbed the bucket that Akane held,
slammed the bucket onto Kuno's head and kicked him out the window. Behind her,
Akane stifled a giggle and Ranma-chan smiled a little herself.
