Angst is the feeling you get after watching all 13 episodes of Gundam
0083, where they kill the main characters off, *just* as you were
starting to really like them.   It's also the feeling that makes you
wanna ball you hands up in fists, go out on some dark cliff somewhere
and scream at the universe just because.  One of the recent examples of
angst I've seen is Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury games/OVA/Movies.
He's now had two girlfriends die while he was protecting them, both
because they sacrificed their life to save him.  This causes Angst.
Much Angst.

Sorta like the end of Gunbuster when main characters finally return home
14,000 years later (IT WASN'T FAIR!   WAAHHH!!!)
