of something else,  and a car whose body was too crushed and battered to
be recognized, with it's broken windows and ripped outer skin.  Among
the wreckage and twisted mess lay Akane. ]

This paragraph is a little chaotic. The way it's written, the 'a broken and
twisted...' is describing Nerima.

[At the tendo dojo, the family is just getting up, Kasumi making breakfast

 as she hums to herself, Ranma and Genma fighting over the pond, 
(here: Ranma and Genma fighting over the pond. Maybe: are fighting over or
fighting above?)

Kasumi[walking in from hall sounding a bit tense]: Father! That was tofu 

 sensei. There was an accident... Akane she...

(Tofu Sensei. Caps)

Let's see. I'm not sure if Ranma would be quite that callous about Akane
being in the hospital. Since he seems to always be there for her whenever
she's in serious trouble. And wouldn't Ryoga be at Akane's side, as soon as
he could find his way to the hospital? Just a few things to think about.
