Damnit. I keep forgeting this kid wasn't around when Star Wars came out.

your age...) :)

OK, I will. I saw Star Wars during its first theatrical run. I didn't see
it the first night it was out, but I did see Empire... and Jedi... that way.
(and I saw all 3 *several* times during their first runs too)

       Ditto....
It's strange to think it was so long ago...Some things stay imbedded
in your memory like snapshot-shadows after an atomic blast....of course
most (like this one ) are nicer...
I was with a friend from school (who was my best friend for
years...'till he did stupid things with his life) (he's still
around...somewhere but I have not seen him for years) I was also with my
older Cousin Karen who had a thing for Shaun Cassidy (ugh...even now I
feel slightly ill)
I remember that Wedge-o-Gods-pie that was the Star Destroyer and
waching it gradually come from somewhere overhead....so damn big that you
had trouble seeing all of it....Now...I look at the SD vrs the Super SD
or that big mother that was the Death Star ( Imperial Judical Station for
all of you Impy Symps out there) and I wonder how big can it all get...
It's sort of like how the ships just get bigger and bigger in GunBuster
(love that as well) I mean Wowswers.... Buster Machine #3 Whhooooo!

                              Well, classes tomorrow...
                                  nite.
