The last fanfic author I sent email to was Benares for "Two Sides of a Coin
(???) [Ranma 1/2]" and "Largo: Red Eyes and White Fangs [BGC]" , those
were to encourage him to continue/finish them. They were written a long
time ago, and never completed. And it looked as if he was going to start a
new fanfic series around Ukyou (after Ranma married Akane) before finishing
the previous two.
I could never understand why some people post their stories to RAAS before
they've finished them. There's just too many never completed stories out
there. It's just frustrating to the readers (and, maybe, embarrassing to
the writers?)

Some posters like to post stuff as it comes out, gives readers
some excitement waiting for the next part. "Oh WOW, the next part of
______ is here!!!"
