Comments! You asked for 'em... you got 'em!

Note: I take my Ranma fanfic very seriously (although I've never written
one myself), so feel free to ignore my babble if it grates on your nerves.

This scene is very touching. He never did tell her how he felt.. and now
she's gone-- *sniff*.. Ahem. To continue:

Dr. Tofu: I'm a doctor, Ranma. I can't play with
 the subject of death.

Hmm. There must be a better way of expressing this; it didn't quite come
out right, I think. Something like "I can't help someone who is dead.."
except that that wouldn't work either, as it's too insensitive for Dr.
Tofu. Oh well, that's the sort of thing we pay you fanfic authors the big
bucks to figure out. :-)

Shampoo: Is strange, but she know what best.
(Sighs) Shampoo miss husband so much!
(Starts humming) Hm, maybe... I know what
she do! She make Ranma miss me, miss me
so much that he want immediately marry
 Shampoo! Great-grandmother is so smart!
(Continues humming, now with a great huge
 smile)

This is sort of sad, too. I can't help but feel sorry for Shampoo, even
though she just killed Akane. How someone can be so thick-headed..

But I must reluctantly agree with your portrayal of Shampoo's reaction to
the situation. It would even be halariously funny except for the
overwhelming pathos of the whole situation.

Ranma-chan: What on earth did you think you
were doing Shampoo?! (Starts shaking her, and
by now Shampoo is a nice shade of blue)

(Ahh, I see.. her face turned blue from having her breath cut off. The
first time through, I thought it was that blue aura thing showing up and
was a bit confused!)

Shampoo-neko: (Thought) Why Ranma so mad?
What Shampoo do now? (Ranma-neko is now
less than a foot from her) Is this end of Shampoo?....

[The scene fades, with Shampoo-neko cowering in
a corner of a dark alley and Ranma-neko lifting up her
 hand, about to strike]

No! Don't kill Shampoo! Not that she doesn't deserve it or anything, but
it would make Ranma a killer, too. Don't turn Ranma into a murderer!

I felt for how you presented P-Ranma when he (she?) first showed up, empty
and broken.

I really do hate Shampoo (I bet you've noticed
already), so I might as well kill her... but then again...
(Sorry, to any Shampoo fans out there, but a woman
that solves all her problems by killing ppl is
not popular on my list)

Hmm. I can't honestly say that Shampoo is my favorite character either,
but she's never bothered me as much as, say, Ryouga (who reminds me too
much of bullies I knew as a child--ironic, since am now close to 7 feet
tall and weigh at least 300 pounds!). Once in a while a fanfic author
shocks me with what I have to admit, upon reflection, Shampoo is quite
capable of doing. She did try to kill Ranma at first, after all.

When your Shampoo remorselessly killed Akane, and when the Shampoo in Roy
Rim's Split Personalities happily attacked and tried to kill the
surprised, now permanently female Ranma (the same Ranma she was supposedly
in love with, only now split into a male and a female; Shampoo was just
_delighted_ that she'd be able to kill female Ranma _and_ marry male
Ranma!), I shuddered. Had to stop to consider how... psychotic...
Shampoo's character really is. "Reality--accept no substitute!"

Anwya, I must have bored you to death with my
ramblings on the last chapter, because since then it's
been completly silent! Or maybe you don't like the fact
that somebody as 'cute' as Shampoo kills Akane.

No, although it's hard to keep in mind, since she _is_ so cute, Shampoo
has shown her ruthlessness time and again in the series. I don't mind
being reminded. :-)

Excellent story. I must apologize for not getting around to writing
before now. I know that if I ever get around to writing a fanfic I'll
want some comments. :-)
