Actually, I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail once.  Once was
plenty, but I plenty enjoyed it anyway.

I KNEW IT!! I KNEW IT!!!  I knew there was a reason I didn't like you - 

You're too normal.  You sound like some of my friends who like
BevHills901284875, or Melrose Place or Wheel of Fourtune....

I don't.  Can't stand most stuff on TV.  I watch Deadly Games now and
then, but that's about it.

ME : Do you want to watch XXXX

Them : Nah - we saw that once, remember?

Me : but it was good!

Them : so?  We saw it.  OOOHH!  Look a new made-for-TV movie about
somebody having a tragic romance on channel 3!  Where's the popcorn...Or
there's a Gomer Pyle, USMC marathon on Nick at Nite.  You choose.

Me : POUND! POUND! POUND!  <--sound of my head and their floor

I don't do tragic romances, either.  And Gomer Pyle's it on too thick for
me.

The Princess Bride, I'll watch over and over again.  And Nausicaa.

As a rule, total silliness *might* be okay *once*.  Other things, though...

Now, here's the kicker - you get to guess whether I'm seriously insulting
you or there should be a smiley at the end of this post.  Enjoy!
