Brett and I have been having a disscussion about the capablities of
the Defiant and the Enterprise. We were wondering which ship would win if
they fought it out.
        I'm for the Enterprise because although it is not designed to be a
warship, it is bigger and  "in my opinion" has more firepower. I think the
designers at StarFleet Command meant the GALAXY-class starship to be a
SHIP-OF-THE-LINE. And I think they meant the Defiant to be a Cruiser.

        BTW, if you want to know how this question started from it started
as a disscussion about how many Jem'Hadar ships it would take to destory
ethier ship.
