Hey. It took two days to clean up the mess. The damn thing ruptured
capiciters, several vials of medicines, and other delicate equipment.
The worst part was when they destroyed the drinks.

Ever seen bottles of drinks bent out of shape and exploded soft drink
bottles in a store room before?

Actually yes. About five years ago I built a sonic range gun (it was
meant to measure distance under adverse conditions) out of an old steel
parabola and a resonence chamber. At full power and correct focus, it was
full capable of blowing out windows, bending sheet metal, destroying any
sort of delicate electrical equipement, what have you. It's still around
somewhere, but the distortion cannon I was fooling with at Ottawa U. took
precedence, being potentially (read: if we ever get it working right)
much more destructive, and easier to use. Anyway, it's in peices because
they needed the lab back, so nothings happening right this very instant,
but maybe in about a month when the lab free's up again we will get
permission to fire it. (at about 700$ a shot, it's difficult to justify
destroying pop cans)
