Has Akane blown up once in my story?

Which shows how unRanma it is:)

Her 'power' if you will, does not extend beyond her body, even trying a
swing with her hammer would be worthless unless she connected with the
hand holding the mallet. Besides, her mallet never appears in wliia, it is
more 'true life' and some purely anime stuff has been scrapped.

oh, didn't know she had to catch it with her hands!! But that
doesn't make sense either. What's the difference between your hands or
your arm?

You've got a good working base, but you need to tone it down some to prevent
Akane from going over the edge. Ranma and company make her mad easily and often
enough that she'd likely do one or more of them serious physical harm. You've
basically made her defensively invincible (just stop all attacks) and

Only if she can catch the object (fist, sword, foot, whatever) and her
skills as a martial artist aren't that good, now are they oriented towards
catching somebody's punch in mid swing... normally that would be an
incredibly stupid manuever. Also, an attacker can use hands and feet, she
runs out of hands to catch things with very soon, unless she is really
concentrating. And one note, she CAN lock through objects, but they have
to be less solid (fabric would pass, steel would not).

Wait, I thought u said if something attacked her, the second it
made contact with her, it'd stop it.

It doesn't happen unless she wants it to, like when she is really mad.. and
even then she doesn't have to use it. The heating is admitedly the more
deadly of the two, because she could burn you just for a touch, but she
doesn't think of this very often.

now wait, being mad is concentrating?

Still can't accept but that's my own opinion. Maybe u should at
least considering taking out some of those powers? I mean, I'm not the
only one who suggested it, but go ahead, by all means, it probably works.
