A potential side effect of when Akane stops something (like a sword) might be
some
feedback to the person holding the sword. Granted she might absorb the impact
with no harm to herself but, the attacker is still going to experance a sudden
unexpected shock as the sword (or other weapon) stops before they were expecting
it.
I thought this obvious enough that it wasn't in the notes, and yes, it
happens in the story. She isn't absorbing the impact though, it is more
like she transfers the object momentum to the fabric of space, and it is
unlikely one would be able to cut through that, so the sword would stop.
