I went searching through the ML archives for a copy of "Who's Life..." so that I
could contribute more usefully to these discussions. However it seems to have
rotated out, so would someone be kinda enough to send me a copy? (Andrew?)
The other thing I noticed reading the old messages is that some people did not
not have the fortune to have decent shell accounts and were thus restricted in
their net.stuff. I happen to run a linux box with a direct net connection
(thank god for CMU campus housing), so *within reason* I'd be willing to offer
people shell accounts on my machine for mail/www purposes (sorry no real news
access though). The only catch is you have to be able to telnet in so you have
to have some sort of account elsewhere already with telnet access. Mail me
personally (dar@ghost.res.cmu.edu) if you're interested, *please* don't clog the
ML with these requests. And please don't ask for an account if all you want is
another email addess to impress your friends and don't actually need it since
ghost is my personal machine and I have to do all my work on it too.
