Good news!  I installed Linux today.  (damn ide cd-rom)  Now I just have 
to re-install it correctly...  Yeah, I screwed it up.  Sue me.  Anyway, 
those of you who are having mailbox size problems because of this list 
will have a solution soon...  I hope.  Eris willing.  

I am commiting the ultimate sin.  Responding to my own message.  Anyway, 
It's reinstalled, and it can use the modem.  I gotta make a bunch of 
changes yet to get it working, but I'm getting there.
