You could feel just as drunk, or buzzed depending on amount "drunk", as the
program sends signals to your brain just as alcohol would.

Hmmmm....I guess it's possible....

Of course you would sober up just as soon as you stopped running the program
but, Running around in the Net while drunk is not a safe thing.

I don't think running around the Net period is a safe thing.  One of the
things I don't think I'll ever do myself (Fanfic or otherwise, if it becomes
reality) is hook myself up directly to a computer.  SUre, I like technology,
but not that much that I'm gonna directly jack into a computer network.
(and yes, I know Nene's not a 'wirehead')

But she is eagerly awaiting Smaugs perfection of the VR Chocolate cake. (No
calories!!)

One advantage to it, then, I guess.  :)
