Well, the best explaination I've heard is 'Military Utility Genetic Higher
Intelegence' although this is from fanfic (I totally forget which one,
like duh? [ditz mode off])

(If you were being sarcastic, this post is even more pointless than
it would be if you were really asking a question:)  That would be from
Undocumented Features (and Bert thinks HE writes long fanfics??) and
IMHO one of the best fanfics I've ever read (it's pretty much tied
with Otaku Rising, Serendipity, BGZone, Who Is Kim (Slightly obscure,
look in Mr. MegaZones FTP site under Miscellaneous for it) as well
as a few others I can't recall just now)  hm...I see a trend here...all
of these fanfics (with the exception of Who Is Kim) are all over 800K....I
really DO like long fanfics...
