Describing is easier for me. I can do description until...Well I can do
descriptions. Coming up with dialogue is hard.
Dialogue always seems to flow for me, but then again, it's never very
spectacular. It works well anyway, though, because I mix it with a bit of
description here and there. Yes, I write in novella form. The
descriptions are always rather spare, unless it's a new setting or
something. I try to convey the feeling of the piece without tying up the
reader in a lot of useless rhetoric (sp?) he's not going to remember
anyway. Of course, that means that, the things I *do* bother to describe
will probably be important to the storyline.
